Story: John had been sending tapes to underground jazz
improv guru Rotcod Zzaj (aka Dick Metcalf) who
kindly reviewed them in his 'zine "Improvijazzation
Nation". As happens with most musicians in the underground, a collab. was soon
discussed and then realized. John sent tracks to Zzaj ( via snail-mail) who added his
unique improvised jazz style keyboard work.
Side Project Name: CYSTEM
Title: A Severed Head (single)
John Sosnowski: keyboard, guitar, samples, sequences.
A more *techno* side to John Sosnowski's work.
"When I came up with the song I decided it wasn't quite the same vein as typical
Broca's Area and thought it would be better used separately. It's my spastic, darkly
humourous and slightly retarded evil twin. I used the sync to tape trick again for the
sampled guitar parts." -- John Sosnowski
