Rhys : we don't read books much, just geeky keyboard magazines, and some manuals too
Q : What is the meaning of the title of your third album, "Syrophenikan"
Rhys : the title is way too deep

Bill : Marc was just being Marc

Rhys : Just to concentrate on producing

Bill : Cyberaktif is dead
Q : What computer/Programs ya use on hardwired?
Rhys : an Atari 1040ST (computer on hardwired)
Q : will delerium ever tour?
Bill : Delerium will only tour if this is successful
Q : Bill: what effects did you use on your voice on "Liquid Separation" for they came out killer
Bill : Eventide H3000
Q : What did you think of your Intermix track "mantra" being used in a Japanese animation movie?
Bill : we were pleased with it being used in the animated movie
Q : Many of your tracks have chants, or chant-like sounds. Are they real chants or stuff you just make up?
Bill : All the chants are real
Q : will you aid us IRC viewers in taking over The Web Cafe and Nettwerk for evil intents?
Rhys : YES
Q : a lot of the old delerium records have been reissued on cleopatra lately...are spheres I & II also going to be reissued?
Bill : Yes to spheres I & II
Q : Any guitars on the new FLA release
Bill : no guitars
Q : why did you rely so heavily on vocals on KARMA
Rhys : we didn't want to make just a technical album. progression; try something new (re: vocals)
Q : Bill, I hope you'll continue FLA after "Death", Ive heard you might quit and just do Delerium
Bill : Who knows what the future will bring at this point?
Q : what are your thoughts on the recent press media blitz on electronic music?
Bill : How do you spell, "Chemical Brothers?"
Q : Rhys: Do you like At The Gates (RIP)? Will you work with any bands from the Gothenburg scene?
Rhys : I love at the gates. if the band sends me a tape and they're cool we'll see what happens
Q : Are the rumors true that you (Bill) are doing work on a skinny puppy remix album?
Bill : I never met Skinny Puppy

Bill : Only if we tour

Rhys : Groove Rider

Rhys : old sisters of mercy records are cool
Q : Will Rhys work on the next Delerium album?
Rhys : I don't know
Q : Rhys, have you permanently left FLA or do you consider yourself just on hiatus/likely to return?
Rhys : it's hard to say right now
Q : what new gear are you using ?
Rhys : we're using an AKAI S612 and a Korg Poly 8000 and a WASP

Bill : I bought a new wig

Bill : Ogre got married and is residing in CA with 6 pets
Q : Do you like to play in small clubs or big arenas?
Rhys : big arenas
Q : If you do more Delerium projects do you think you will continue/extend the vein of the current and previous album of integrating and experimenting with female vocalists? Do you think you have explored that to your satisfaction or is there more you want to do?

Bill : the copyright date on Karma was a typo
Q : How did you decide to play Millennium at the Much Music awards
Bill : We played millennium because of the video
Q : If you were to tour, would Kristy tour with you also??
Rhys : yes
Q : Are you SURE about callin the new album Death? Imho only Danzig can get away with that:-)

Q : What kind of distortion does Fear Factory use on Dino's guitars?
Both : it's just a modified Marshall
Q : would you do any songs in german like KMFDM?
Rhys : there's a noise unit song in German
Q : BILL: What happened to the Mutual Mortuary tapes?
Bill : they're sitting in my closet at home
Q : I noticed that some of the video clips on screen when you played Phoenix last year were from the animated Lord of the Rings... is there any significance to that?
Rhys : it's just a compilation of cool images that Bill Morrison made for us
Q : what do you think of bands like Hootie & The Blowfish and Dave Matthew's Band?
Bill : they sell more records than us
Q : Electronic music can sometimes be very souless in the assembly stages. Is it necessary for every song you write to strike a soulful chord in you when it is finished?
Rhys : I disagree. electronic music is not soulless. keyboards are an instrument like any other.
Q : how much input did you have on the direction of the videos you've filmed?
Rhys : we kinda hand it over to the directors. they come up with concepts and we kind of approve it
Q : have you guys heard the new Depeche Mode?
Rhys : I have... they're too mellow
Q : Does industrial mean anything anymore, or has it fallen the way of 'alternative'
Both : it's definitely fallen by the wayside
Q : RHYS or BILL ya like Korn?
Both : We like korn with butter
Q : what do you think of Underworld?
Both : they're pretty good
Q : what does the future hold for Front Line Assembly?
Both : not much at the moment
Bill : if more people would have bought FLA records
there'd be a future... but there isn't
