This evening began with Blue Dahlia playing over an hour of their
music. Their sound ranges from melodic female vocal laden percussion heavy
tribal neo-rock to a more noisy guitar barage experimental.
They come from the Lansing Michigan area and play often in Michigan.

The next band in line was Amaranth. They are located in Kalamazoo Michigan. Their music is in the vein of goth-rock. Since I first heard them live in 1999, I'd say they have expanded their professional sound immensely. They often play live in Michigan and are up and coming in the local scene.

Lofi Scorpio is also from Kalamazoo Michigan.
They are currently playing live in Michigan and Illinois in support of their
second full length release "Noir".
Their sound has evolved to a more beat driven, guitar and
synth based form of melodic yet at times noisy abrasive music.

This is a fan watching the show.
I like his t-shirt.

If you find out these bands are playing live near you, get out and support them!
