          Another outstanding product brought to you by London's Warp Records. Autechre's Envane EP contains 4 new tracks, with each track offering something different. As Autechre combines the elements of hip-hop, techno, and trance, the result is the Envane EP, which is possibly one of the most well-structured releases of 1997.
          The highlights of the album are "GOZ Quarter" and "Laughing Quarter." With "GOZ Quarter," Autechre brings in turntables as they scratch it up in the mix to provide a hip-hop flavor to the vibe. "Laughing Quarter" is nothing new for Autechre, except for another upbeat awesome dance track.
          Although "Envane" is only available as an import right now, the domestic version should be out soon. The new full-length album,"Chiastic Slide," is due out in February.
