    Upon first listening of this album, I was paralized as a quivering mass of clear jello on the floor only to be saved by someone hitting the stop button 4 hours later after the cd had looped tree times. If you were me, you'd not get this far but would be on your way to the cd joint to pick this up. There are some of you with doubts, I  know. Well... Imagine all the Swans albums you own, take your favorite little sound clips, noises and voice out, and then orchestrate them. These songs range from random noise tapes of Jarboe (crying, singing in the shower, talking to herself, and so on), to solo acoustic guitar tracks from Micheal Gira. Phil Puleo, Bill Bronson, James Plotkin, Kurt Ralske, Birgit Staudt, Bill Rieflin, Kris Force, Norman Westburg, Thomas Dodd, Mika Vaino,Tore H. Boe, Helge Sten, and Ole Havrir Moe make up the rest of this orchestra.  Clearly, there are VERY few things I've ever heard quite this enigmatic and beautiful.
