This is the brand new release of one of the so-called greatest DJ's in the world. As a sequal to F.A.C.T 1, this double disc set offers 35 techno/dance/house tracks. Such popular artists as Underworld and Josh Wink are featured on the compilation with their ever-so-popular tracks that are now in dance clubs all throughout the world. At 35 tracks, one would have to say that the disc must be excellent to fill up that much space, but don't be too excited.
Disc One has some very good and very awful tracks on it. Artists like Fatboy Slim and Chakra Vs. Orchestra (which were great live) offer some melodic upbeat dance sounds. Even Carl Cox, who mixes all the music together, offered one of his highlighting tracks along with some remixes. But some acts (The Mod Wheel, Green Velvet) sounded very boring and could easily fall into the category for stereotypical generic techno.
Disc Two, however, sort of picks up where the first disc fell off of track. With 20 songs on this disc, Cox does an excellent job of keeping the music continuous throughout the whole disc. Both Carl Cox and Underworld have a track on this disc, along with another Cox remix. But all in all, the sound from the first disc follows the same with the second one.

Moonshine Music is one of the biggest and nicest techno labels in America today. Usually, a Moonshine comp. will make my day, but not this day. Altogether, this is not a bad disc, but not a great one either. Carl Cox will be touring the U.S. in May in support of this release and he will release a full-length album later on in the year.
