United Endangered Front has brought us a number of excellent artists and tracks on Circuit Noir. Released in 1997, Noir exhibits a wide array of talent from the United States and Australia from the dark elektronik "pockets" that inhabit the underground music scene. Eerie synth work, vocals, and often the sounds of scary sinister-like compositions benchmark Circuit Noir's artistry. This Cd is not to be missed as it is a compelling and intensely rich release. The production is also very good, mastering is worth every penny, and the individual compositions are a great introduction to the artists who contributed tracks. Ungothlike, there are a number of female artists here which bring an often unknown voice to the underground scene -- The Azoic, Fockwolfe and Numantra -- all three are excellent tracks offering mezmerizing originality of experimental, ambient and acid combinations.

Eye brings a different approach to the diversity with their sequencing increasing in timbre and speed, which races towards vocals layered with experimental industrial near chaos intensity. Crimson Boy exhibits a good deal of blending unique sounds in bass, sonics, and vocals to create yet another brooding mood on the release -- and Oneiroid Psychosis, scary stuff there! Evil, upsetting, and ominous best describes their work in Effacement Of Projects And Purposes.

Circuit Noir offers you relentless noise with Wage Class Slave, the tweekings and beat of electronik savvey of Noxious Emotion, and the more subtle works of techno-electro-guitarish edgers Nefarium. But there's more! Deep bassy quivers and danceable synths of Separate Faith and the irresistable wizardry of Society Burning will certainly take care of your boredom.

Taking the listener even further into the darkest realms of elektronik experimental sonic composition is Marble Orchard, while Redonjon hints at the lucious side of beautiful minimalist "fairy-tale" like electronica.

BUY THIS CD! It is an awesome release to have all these excellent tracks and artists on one CD relative to "Dark Electro". I hope you don't miss it. Circuit Noir is one of the best compiliations i have heard this summer. I am giving this CD away in my Women Contest, and buying another one!!! To order Circuit Noir go to the United Endangered Front site. Tell them Kim from Last Sigh sent you...
