A thirty-two band line up on this double tape compilation has some of the best bands presenting industro-electro in the United States -- this is Cyberbabies, The FINAL version. All of the bands on this release are worthy of your time by purchasing any CDs they have out or are going to release in the future.  Some the tracks may never be released to the public, as they are unreleased elsewhere, but a few of them can already be found on independent releases, demos or full length CDs on various labels. You probably won't be able to get a copy of these two tapes, as the project is currently in kill mode, but nonetheless, the music here is quite a good array of what is going on over here in the United States in terms of electronic-industrial and experimental music.
Since I have recently been in Europe this past month of February, 1999, I have noticed that europeans really don't know that much about the electro-industrial or "local" scenes in the states, which I find really a drag, not only for the people in europe, but also for those making music in the states.
Likewise, we here in the states know very little of the scene short of those major labels overseas...so the moral of the story is, keep reading Last Sigh and learn about what you are missing in the global Industrial electronic music scene.   There is so much great music out there.  Cyberbabies represents a nice little niche here, and it's all very excellent work. Keep your eyes out for it when you see these bands on CDs of their own, or on compilations!
