Holocaust Theory (core) is:
James Curzon Vietzke: vocal treatments, synth therapy, programming, sampling, and
Scott William Beebe: synth diagnostics, programming, sampling, effects, and
noises. Out of San Francisco James and Scott specialize in dark
electronic ambient gothwave. Rightfully titled, Holocaust Theory seem to reflect
the popular theorized [upcoming?] armmageddon doom and gloom associated with human drama
on the planet and issues surrounding our impact on our natural environs with their
hauntingly dark soundscapes, mysteriously cold synthetics, and ominously threatening
vocals. This release is more for the "serious" listener, not a good release for
dance clubs, however there are a few tracks that some may find enticing on the dance
floor.
Holocaust Theory has a
beautiful sound, yet wicked. A brief description from press material explains:
"The music and the name Holocaust
Theory, describes how Vietzke and Beebe feel about the plague known
as humanity and the path that society has created for the generations to come. And with
this in mind, [they] feel there will be six phases of Holocaust known as "Rain"
to cleanse the infection. Proclaimed Visions has brought the first two phases of
"Rain". This is their Holocaust Theory."
There may not be a light at
the end of the tunnel....
