On looking at the name of the album you know what to expect: chill running throughout your body. You, laying on the snow, with no one around. You're dying in the cold, but you don't want to be rescued: "this night is mine to keep my perfect quiet place".
         The beat is s-o, s-o s-l-o-w , t-h-a-t i-t m - a - k - e - s y - o - uf - e -e - l a - s i - f t - h - e s -o - n - g w - a - s n - e -v - e - r e - n - d - i - n- g -which would be just perfect!
A new feature: Tara now as a true member of the band, doing both lead and background vocals. Just what Lycia needed to round off their beautiful gothic/ethereal sound
Now there is a balance between guitars and background. They both integrate perfectly in a beautiful smooth-yet-rough blend (with very few exceptions:2nd part of both "Frozen" and "Bare"): guitars now playing an accompanying roll rather than taking the lead.
Though the concept is that of the name, it doesnt have the effect of making you not feeling anything as suggested by the lyrics: "I don't think that I can feel anything at all". Au contraire, it's just like ice burning you from the inside touching your innermost, hidden sensations.
None of the songs is under the "good" level. In fact most of them are in the "excellent" level.
Summing up, not only the best Lycia release... no, no, one of the best Projekt releases, no, no, one of the best gothic releases ever... actually I'd go as far as to say that it's one of the best CD's I've ever heard...of any genre.
Now come back to earth as you turn off the cd player.
