Gimp

Track Listing
1. This Disease
2. Downs
3. The Body And The Blood
4. The Well Of Happiness
Who Distributes the Meat? That would be: Tom Atwell (Guitar); Mark
Campbell (Keyboards); Dan Dale (Drums); Chris Hayes (Percussion); and Lance Hayes
(Vocals). Seattle based dubbed Gothic/Industrial, Meat Distributors kicks
it out on this 4 track EP demo titled: Gimp.
This band is great! I'm sitting
here listening to this EP -- bummed as crap about things, and the first track: This
Disease sure helps tons. I wish these guyz were in my living room playing this stuff
live right now. Hard driven, electro, good vocals, and it puts me right in the groove to
dance my butt off even though I am in a completely shit mood. Well HELL.
The next track really hits home
about now: Downs is another outstanding cut, great synth, super vocals that you can
actually tell are human and on key, bits of guitar here and there, damn you guys
are good...I wanna meat and hear you live!!! (Maybe I will move out to Seattle...).
Track 3, The Body And The Blood,
starts out with some eerie harmonics and leads into heavy guitar, vocals/lyrics,
reminding me a tad of metal but softer. Great track...heh, gotta love those tasty guitar
riffs...
The last track, The Well Of
Happiness begins with synth drums and the sample: "She's DEAD MAN! You FUCKING
KILLED HER!"...and rolls into a hard driven drum, guitar, electro-shock collage of
intense sound...with a 4:4 beat and buzzing guitar in the background -- ending with more
samples of two people talking. My stereo sucks too much to get them all down, but they do
say again: "What'd you DO MAN? You FUCKING KILLED HER!". heh, cool as fuck.
