While his ex-fellow Insekt Mario Vaerewijk is successful with Lowpass (a trip-hop band), Erik Van Wonterghem releases some instrumental synthwork on the label of his brother in law (Dive). Once he was with Dive in The Klinik and these roots can be recognized: especially people who like the double Klinik box or the softer works by The Hybryds will enjoy these atmospheric soundscapes.
The 11 tracks vary from 30 seconds to 6 minutes and merge easily into each other. The first 10 minutes is a soft awakening from nothing, but then the birds start whistling and beats start slowly, supported by extra soundscapes by Peter Hoste of Beyond Mixed Data. We just don't get to dancing in 'The Shapeshifter' when we lay back at closing track 'Pxl Flux v2.1'. The mastering was done at Prodam, the little company Erik started after quitting Insekt.
