The first words that comes to mind with this release is: delicious and temping, peaceful and sincere. The lyrics are sweet yet unforgivingly truthful, and sensitive in terms of life, love, pleasure and memories.  Unlike other releases and works by Eric Pounder at Invisible and The Lab in Chicago, this CD has incredible amounts of emotional impact, soft yet intense acoustic guitar with an slight edge of dark folk to it, reminding me a bit of some of Nick Cave, Ontario Blue (Endvra), and Michael Gyra's earlier works. Not quite spoken word, but spoken word backed up with gently solemn and spacious guitar, clean smooth drums and just enough keyboards to add a tasty spiraling electronic touch to its central core of passion.
This is the kind of music that is wonderful for a more laid back let's crack a bottle of wine and relax for a while in front of the fire or with one or two good friends at best. However one must pay attention to the lyrics to get the full impact. Do you get the picture?  If so, now order the CD. Thank you Eric.
