Strych-Nine's has become Florida's best melodic "Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Band. Having been around for seven years, the band has developed a distinctive style all their own. They have taken the 1980's and jacked it up to the '90s! The stuff is not thrash or speed metal, but some of the best hard rock around. It fills the empty niche in today's rock music". --Site Press Material

Not only does the aforementioned press material pretty much sum up Strych-Nine, but the music is sheer evidence in giving proof to the high quality of talent in this band. Hailing from the Metal hub of South Florida, Strych-Nine is a kick ass sound not to be missed if you live in that area or enjoy high energy tasty riffs of lead guitar and bass, and the crunching mesmerizing dark heavy rhythm guitar that reminds me in part of the rhythm guitars in some work done by Catherine Wheel in the past, and coupled with incredible drumming and Black Sabboth sounding vocals!
With Jack Witt doing his vocal repetroire, you can't go wrong with this group if you are at all interested in this sort of music. Suicide 39 is laden with tasty guitars, vocals you can hear clearly that are on key and span octaves that most people can't even dream of hitting, lyrics that you will surely relate to, "The killers stock the battle fields with all the latest dreams, battle zone, hearing lost by armor piercing rings..." - War, and real drums that roll SO fast at times I don't know how Russ Lange can actually move that quick!
This release is NOT for the weak at heart! Hard-driven yet injected with melody, you won't be unhappy with Suicide 39. If you live in or near South Florida, get out and support Strych-Nine!!
