Rendering itself from the French underground, Regard Extrême congeals
into a symphony of dark, neo-classical, minimalist ambiance with Vague à L'âme.
Rich in expression, emotionally chilling and melodically passionate, Regard Extrême
captivates the essence of perfection in producing an air of romantic cinematic
soundscapes. Stringed instruments (created using samplers) dominate the background of most
tracks, deep heavy percussion and drone assist on a few tracks, an orchestral chorus adds
immense beauty to the entire release.
Regard Extrême is no 'new-comer' to the music. Their discography stems
back from 1993 up to 2000 (World Serpent "Free") on many various compilations,
two successful full length releases "Resurgence" on CD and a tape release of
"Aux morts" which lead up to a collaboration with " Les Joyaux de la
Princesse " on the album " Die weiße Rose ". Highly recommended for the
enthusiasts of dark neo-classical minimalist music. |
