The Tunnel Singer is Lee Ellen Shoemaker. Lee makes all her music with no effects at all, here's how: All the sounds are made in a 2-million gallon WW1 cement water tank call the cistern. The cistern creates natural reverberation. Each note stays noticeable for around 45seconds. Eighty-eight cement support columns sculpt the sounds into a deeply relaxing chorus.

The tunnel singer is the weirdest kind of music I've ever heard, but its also some of the best. Each sound creates a relaxing tone that makes you feel more and more "toned-down" by the second. The artist uses no electrical devices to create the sounds, which makes the music so much better. Since the sounds are all natural, the music makes you think, and if you close your eyes you can almost see little animals running around a forest or fish swimming in the ocean. There are NO lyrics at all, just the sounds and tones of vibrations in the cistern.
