For those of you who prefer the brighter side of ambient, Sir Isaac Neutron's Ambient Dalliance exists. The entire disc consists of similar elements all arranged in different methods which keeps the material fresh, yet links all the tracks together so they flow nicely. The release consist of electronic soundscapes of deep, spacy drones with occasional laid-back, slow-technoid percussion. There are many monologues and dialogues in the background which moves the tracks along quite smoothly, and some faint instrumentation and actual 'music' can be heard from time to time. A few of the tracks are reminiscent of movies such as Hypersleep relating to Aliens and the second Hypersleep track (11) being related to another film of which I can't remember the title. It's a pretty nice selection of music which isn't all that original or amazing, but good to have on in the background [for those more peaceful less doom and gloom moments in time].
