Disc Two -- The Audio-Video
A multi-media CDRom interactive of the Euro-Tour

I must say I was pretty surprised by this release. It's an incredibly great amount of live material. Not only do you get music from other venues in Europe, but you get dialog with the band themselves, interviewers, fans perhaps, Spahn Ranch and friends. The cover has a reddish-brown cutout in the center, a pseudo-box if you will of cardboard. The CD liner has a foldout effect into a poster of sorts, with tour dates/venues on it, and a collage work of what I assume to be photos from the tour. Disc One is music, with the band members giving teensy intermission-like excerpts of them talking with various individuals, or amongst themselves. It's actually quite nice to have those breaks between the songs, it gives the release a more "human" touch. The sound on this release is excellent. The choice of songs are equally excellent -- dancey, powerful, ambitious, and tasty EBM at your finest. Apoptygma does a rendition of Depeche Modes "Enjoy The Silence", you can hear the crowd singing along, it's great !
The second Disc is Multi-media events of the Apoptygma crew mainly with a few shots (and one joke) of Spahn Ranch, the southern California band that supported the tour. Events on the multimedia disk range from the crew being on the bus, on a ferry to Germany, walking through different buildings on their tour, andvarious live clips of different performances and interviews. It's an excellent mulitmedia CDR presentation; light hearted, good music, lots of information, rather personal for fans, and a high quality production. Don't miss this release on Tatra Records. Remember, Apoptygma Loves You.
