In the excellent tradition of the music by Stephen Groth, "Eclipse" brings us a wonderful dose of electro-synth body beat music. The tempo is fast, great dance music. The melody is sweet. The lyrics are provoking, "As we dwell in the safe zones that we've made, where nothing but earthly pleasures seem to matter, the only light we see is from the screens, no will to feel or explore the forgotten dimensions" and Stephen goes on "And someday, we'll catch a glimpse of eternity...as the world stands still, for a moment. For the very first time, and it's meant to be, we'll forget about ourselves and share the moment...(for a moment)."
All tracks are bouncey and make me feel like I should get off my butt and dance. I don't think my neighbors appreciate the bass lines in this single however, which is about all they can hear eminating from my house. TOO BAD! AHAHAHAH! Oh well they'll get over it.
I just think that Apoptygma Berzerk can do no wrong in their music. That's just how tight they are, as musicians, performers and creators of fine EBM/synth-pop edge. I always look forward to hearing their work, it's always delicious. Where's the full length? I can't wait !
