"Clone 137" -- Additional
Hidden Track original
done by :W: and modified by B-TON-K
Another great release out of Bavaria, Germany from B-TON-K's Karl-K, Daham Recordings and
Mental Ulcer Forges, SemiHum (at) nBeing is a dark,
dancey, tempting piece of electronic artwork. The production is excellent, the sound is
bouncy yet wicked with slices of intelligent dance music riding the back of well
orchestrated militant industrial noise beats and symphonic expression. Changes in beat,
timbre and melody are many in most tracks, and diversity on the CD as a whole is great.
As always, Karl-K is a master in tempo, beats, and percussion, which
can be heard on most of his work. Vocals consist of sampling, Rudy Ratzinger of the famed
:Wumpscut: and Karl K. The vocals are for the most part treated to a rough, dark,
sinnister feel. Additional samples consist of snarls, growls and noisey insertions. Back
beats abound leaving the listener ready for the dance floor on many tracks. The extra
track, "Clone 137" originally done by :W: and modified by B-TON-K, is dark,
dronal synth combined with treated evil vocals, noise and bassy beats. A wonderful
selection.
SemiHum (at) nBeing is one of the
best releases I have heard in the area of dark militant electronic-synth/ and
industrial/dance this year. It's a spectacular piece of work.
