Mark Kolmar of Burning Rome presents a fresh blend of Intelligent Dance Music, techno, snappy electronic drum & bass/experimental on "Senseless." This full length release from Mindfield Records is a testament to the new and original sounds emerging from the electronic 'underground' music scene. "Senseless" has overall a great amount of creativity in sound, textures, beat, tempo, noise and composition.
While listening to his release, I found it difficult to sit still and keep my headphones on during most of the tracks which forced me directly into a beat-groove mindset of "Let me off this chair to move with the Groove" feeling. :) Provocative changes of synth blurps and bleeps blended with loops, backbeats and melodic undertones offer up a healthy dish of eclectic and meandering audio delight. Not only does this release have a good amount of techo edge, choppy drum & bass, but there is also pulsing noise, shifting timbre and frequency such as track Ten, which lasts just about six minutes.
This release is by no means heavy or gloomy, but rather more on the "up" end of things: light, minimalist, and lots of  percussion bringing us pure experimental electronica at it's best.
