Covenant is Eskil Simonsson, Joakim Montelius, and Clas Nachmanson. They are a Swedish band from Helsingborg with music described
as electropop/industrial/dance. "Calculi" is: James & Eddie Svärd.
Artwork and paintings by James Svärd.

Supporting the "Europa" release, Euro EP  gives a taste of some of what might be their "pre-millenial-tension."   For the most part, the songs here represent very dancey, rather melodic, and yes synthpopish elements. Not every mix is synthpop however as "Consumer" is more minimal in sounds including a rolling bubbly bassbeat, and vocals consisting of a word here or there,... "Consumer."... Track three is pretty good ("Go Film - Hard version), pounding bassbeats (my woofers are spazzing), great vocals, and a dark melody.
The "Calculi tracks", 'Tension', and 'Go Film' are markedly more disco in beat, uplifting tempo, and cheesy jazzy/disco simplicity, not knocking it mind you, they are good tracks, tracks that any dance club would want in their collection, tracks that remind me of Haujobbish-Beefcakeish with a twist of disco.
