Decoded Feedback and friends have brought us yet another classic agressive electro-body-music hit with "EVOLution."  Swirling drawn out melodic synths in the background, unrelenting beats, treated eerie vocals, and dance oriented rhythms make up the majority of the whole in creating this release. This is a perfect CD for dance clubs in entertaining their guests, as well as radio DJs, or listening at home.
The overall sound is dark, industrial symphonic, and aggro-electro all blended together to bring out some of the best dance-industrial-EBM on Metropolis Records. Tracks that stand out to me as being a bit off the beaten path on this release are: "Frozen" -- a little softer sound overall, "Re/animation" -- faster beat, vox sampling, more synth- phonic in melody than the others, "Breathe", (In Strict Confidence remix) -- deeper bass, less treated vocals and tasty mellow beats/harmonies, "Relic", (Aghast View & Din-Fiv remixes) -- more experimental take off from the original, distinct beats of their own.
EVOLution is a nice release for those of you who enjoy the more traditional sounds of Electro-industrial body music.
