A much wiser and well-produced effort than their 1997 debut, "All Of Us Can Be Rich...," Ec8or hits hard on their newest release, "World Beaters." Instead of using the "minimalistic" approach that Ec8or did on "All of us...," they utilize their equipment and talents to full speed on this record.
This is digital hardcore at its finest. Hyper-tempo beats collide with screeching vocals and wicked distortion to create some of the most intense electronic-thrash music ever to bare itself on these shores. Will this be the new breed of riot-punk?
Standout tracks include "199Ec8or," "Alert," and "Dirt," which is originally a song done by The Stooges. They pack a mean punch which will make the listener eiether reach for the volume control or the bottle of asprin. The highlight of this album is the opener track, "Mean." Combined with hyper-speed breaks, thrash guitar, and some of the loudest and nastiest female vocals even screamed, it will enable the listener to question themself if they want to continue on with the rest of the disc.
This cd is highly reccomended for those who are looking for a combination of gabber-style beats, crude programming, and a Bikini Kill attitude.
