If you are not familiar with Mick Harris, he is also the famed Scorn (Invisible Records), and has worked with quite a few other artists in his past such as James Plotkin, Mark Spybey, Martyn Bates and John Zorn. He was a member of Napalm Death, and Divination with Jah Wobble and Bill Laswell. His own work is mainly involved in drum and bass with a backdrop of layered noise, and more pronounced sampling [as with Scorn]. This 12" amber release is more minimalist drum with sequency bass sounds, slow rhythmic beats and a light touch of background noise. I look forward to hearing more releases from Mick Harris on Hed Nod.
