Impaxis Track Listing Side A. Objection Raw, colliding burnt-electronic soundscraps [sic]. Slow, mechanized percussion carries this album along. The first side features a variety of vocal monologues and dialogues buzzing and bleeding in the background as additional, yet minimalized electronics enter the mixture. Very slowly (perhaps too slowly?) additional segments of noise and raw crunching are injected as the piece layers and builds with minimal adjustments to the percussion, still hiding behind that subtle veil of low-fi noise. The second side is exactly the same except for a few very small differences which are almost unnoticable. It's not a bad recording, but just generally repetitive to the point of "how long is this damn thing?" |
