The Death of a Reference

Track Listing

Side A. Finality In Assertion
Side B. Assertion In Finality

The first side begins with slow, machine-driven electronic-noise with hollow, almost fluidy sounding electronic sparks with repetitive sequences and distorted screams in the background which really drive the piece along. There are changes here and there, but everything returns to the original sequence with distorted vocalized screams. It doesn't sound like any 'words' are being screamed, just screaming in general. Further into the piece it begins to build into more noise, but very tame sort of like a less noisy, non-rhythmic Dissecting Table. But soon enough, it's back to the same old sequence with someone screaming vocals or playing distorted monologues or something. The second side is much more aggressive sounding noise. Really good stuff in fact. Grinding and rhythmic (not in a dancy sort of way, but it has rhythm). Overall rather good for those into light noise material.
