This is an absolutely exquisite compilation from the Live Bait Recording Foundation with mounds of excellent music from Blackhouse, Baal, The Soil Bleeds Black, Gruntsplatter, Profane Grace, Valefor, Proscriptor, In Death's Throes, Bad Sector, etc. etc.! From minimalistic deathscapes to chilling experimental-ambient to low-grinding death industrial to all out noise this is definitely a genre-defining release. It seems like most comps like to flow from one form of music to another, which isn't a bad thing, but this one just throws it all at you providing plenty of variety from track to track. If you're in need of some underground experimental work and industrial in the old-school sense, this is definitely for you.

I found most pleasing were Blackhouse's contribution which was a mixture of deep rumbles, repetitive loops of light clanging on some sort of hollow tin, other such layering atmospheric qualities and cold electronics. The Profane Grace track comes to mind as well with it's haunting vocalizations, low-demonic growls here and there, cold flowing atmospheric deathscapes and an excellent use of peculiar sounds and samples. Also, the Valefor track was very similar, yet very different. Ritualistic and dark with spoken word revealing the intentions through incantation. Experimental - Industrial by nature full of black electronics and atmospherics which bleed occultism. I could go on and on about the excellent material found on here.
